Step by Step to be a Graphic Designer

This topic not guide you how to create a graphic design. But just show you what're elements needed to create a graphic design.
Sometime a beginner dreams to create a fantastic jobs. But a job get not instantly,  you must reach it harder. Stop dreaming and just works, works, and works, practice, practice, and practice.
Here are some tips to be a graphic designer.

1. A basic Skill.
A basic skill to be a graphic designer is you must be a good skill in drawing. This skill is needed to sketching your design. Design must be following the rule, and the rule have to learned by practice. Read more guidance books are suggested, these books can you find in you Book Store or Google Books, too.
But here are several guides to create your design (The Basic). For students who learn about graphic design, they must be studied and practiced about the basic elements in drawing and design, they are:

• Line
• Shape
• Form
• Composition
• Balancing
• Texture
• Color
• Depth

Several skills above only be got it by practices, that means you have to draw, draw, and draw.

2. Computer Graphic Skills
This skill is most valuable competence to express your design. The digitally data will be easily edited for your best design. Like I suggest before The Adobe Creative Suite is the best one for A Graphic Designer. Cause, there are many tools to show up your idea. Beside that, a pre-press machine communicates easily with this Adobe tools, too. Only with the experience in pre-press machines you could distinguish the advantages of each tools.
Freehand is still my favorites software, and PhotoShop will completion my works. A simple tools with a high ability makes freehand can operate easily. But Freehand requires your high creativity, coz there are no template, no add-ons filter or texture. For common people, they will like to use CorelDraw, but its Okey, coz CorelDraw needs no much skill and creativity all you need were prepared by the software. I am not using CorelDraw because the file that you created had bigger size file more than Freehand's file size and need more space on your harddisk just for the software.

3. Advance Skill
In this skill you have to have an airbrush skill. Airbrush is needed to make an effect that can't create by a PhotoShop. Cause airbrush can make your works expressively and make more effect for the advance user.

How to Be a Good Graphic Designer

Before you decided to be or not to be a Graphic Designer, you have to know what is Graphic design ?
Someone think that is a screen printing works, but someone else thinking about Offset Printing. A Graphic Designer not just a simple like that, you must be had a skill in Drawing First, in advanced Designer you must be have a skill in using painting material like Air Brush Skill, Watercolor Skill, Dry Pastel or other painting materials.

From now on, if you think about A Graphic designer so you have to had a skill in operating Graphics Software like Macromedia Freehand, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe InDesign, QuarkXpress, CorelDraw evenly a common writing tools like Microsoft Office. For a complete package is ready for you like the best one "Adobe Creative Suite". Is that meaning you have to be an expert Computer first? or you have to be an Artist first? To be The Best Graphic Designer not as simple as like that. You have to an experience in calculating material cost, too. Why was that?
You could create the best design at all, but if you couldn't selling it, that's meaning nothing.
